Hidden Truths
As a follower of Morpheism, in whatever form you are calling it, you might be inclined to act as if you know some truth that others do not. While this is true, if you have freed your mind while others around you have not, you have attained this right... but do not "lord" it over others.
Just as Morpheus and the Nebechadnezzar crew were aware of these truths while others around them in the Matrix were not, they did not lord that information over others' heads... because that would have drawn attention to them (from Agents). Doing the same for yourself will bring undo attention to yourself.
Instead, feel secure in knowing that you know something others don't and that knowledge gives you power. I cannot say to completely hide your information, but anything beyond a subtle display of the Morpheist symbol (see previous post) is flaunting that knowledge.
Free your mind.

Open Source Religion
I love the title. I truly, truly love the title. Not only am I opening up Morpheism for interpretation (something other religions wouldn't dare do) but I am also encouraging everyone to take Morpheism in their own direction.
My own version is a slight variation from what the "source code" is. Incidentally, I also love referring to the basis for Morpheism as "source code," because the movies are about technology as well as religion.
Morpheism is about providing a basis for someone to become more enlightened (i.e. to free one's mind) and that shouldn't be confined to just what I think. The whole point of Morpheism, as I've been preaching, isn't about leadership or a community... it's about you.
The source code for Morpheism will be laid out, along with the promised symbol of this religion. Add on to the code as you will but do me one favor: subtitle your creation.
For instance, Linux is open source software used as an operating system. Others have taken that code and made it their own unique brand (i.e. Red Hat). What I am asking from those who want to use the source code that is Morpheism is to do the same thing: give it your own brand name. It need not be Morpheism: Brand Name... it just needs a name. Give it your own name.

Reloading
I have written this blog in a spaced out fashion to put forth what I believe to be a pace that many attention spans are already at. With the first celebration of the Morpheism holiday on March 31, I am preparing to "reload" this site into something more cohesive, more direct, and more of a manifesto or "bible."
Morpheism will become something more.
This particular blog has been more about fleshing out certain ideas. I want to make sure that all Morpheist ideas are brought forward, so I am preparing to something more along the lines of a Wiki or specific website dedicated to the cause.
Just like The Matrix, I guess you can call this effort a reload (like The Matrix: Reloaded). Fitting, I suppose, since all of this effort will lead to the revolutions (like The Matrix: Revolutions).
Since I do not yet have the wiki ready to go, I don't have an ETA for when this will begin. However, I have begun to outline some of the things that will be added to the wiki/website so that things can be organized correctly.

Community
Most religions rely on a community gathering in order for the leadership, people designated as "experts" or "links to the deity," to keep the masses in line with the interpretations of their holy text.
I've summed up nearly all religions (accepted major religions) in the entire world.
Morpheism is a slap in the face to every single one of those religions because not only is there no need for a community gathering, but I am actually ENCOURAGING a lack of community. Why? If there is no community then there is no need for leadership, which usually only worries about putting forward the agenda of... wait for it: the Leadership.
Study your beliefs on your own. Can a community help? Sure, but Morpheism (as I have conceived it) would be valid only as a solitary or a mentor-apprentice situation. Why the second option? Because Morpheus taught Neo before Neo became the savior. That was a mentor-apprentice situation. Not everyone can study alone and in that situation, the second option gives an opening to those looking for guidance without submitting to the corruption of a large scale community setting.
Each of the three movies (The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, and The Matrix Revolutions), the style of "discovery" is different but the one thing that is constant is the solitary nature of most of that learning. Each person learns on their own in a different way and Morpheism has been conceived to follow that exactly.
Anyone else can interpret their own meanings... especially in Morpheism.

Religious Holidays
Every religion has religious holidays. Holidays that usually involve some sort of reflective worship. Morpheism will also observe some holidays for the first time since it's inception. The dates are as follows:
