Disorganization

Church. The word all but belongs to Christians, even though the term is supposed to be a generic one, when one utters the word “church,” the first thought is of a Christian church.

For Jews, the term for their “gathering place” is Temple, while Muslims have the Mosque. Combined with Church, these three religions all have something in common which is disturbing: the forced gathering of members at a single location. Some will argue about the forced part but they will fail to alter that statement.

In order to properly worship in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, one has to attend the aforementioned “central gathering place.” If you do not attend this meeting, designated at a normal meeting time, then you are not practicing the way that religion intends you to practice. Thus, I use the word forced.

Pathism requires no such gathering. In fact, you are encouraged NOT to meet in a single location because there is no deity to worship. The whole point of Pathism is to open your mind and free yourself from the bonds that society has placed upon you. We don’t need a place to meet to free one’s mind.

The overriding theme in this blog has been control. If your faith is if one of the aforementioned, it is all about control. The Christian faith is all about control. The Pope is the all-powerful person designating what IS and what IS NOT good and followed in Christianity. Under the Pope are the Cardinals, which carry out the orders of the Pope and help to set the tone for what Christianity is all about. These Cardinals distribute the “marching orders” to the individual Priests, which hand that down to the church in order to exact a measure of control.

Sure, there are those of you that will argue with me on this point who are devout Christians. The sad thing is that this resistance is due more to what you’ve been programmed to say rather than what you actually believe.

Take the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. The book is nothing more than a murder mystery with a great back-story, which with a little suspension of critical analysis, is actually a well-crafted one. The Christian church, however, is freaking out that their followers are going to believe that this series of events is hard fact.

If you’re worried that your members will believe in a work of fiction, then they weren’t really believers in the first place. That is how brainwashing gets undone.

Pathism takes a different approach. Investigate as many different faiths as possible. The object of this investigation is to free your mind from the bonds of the establishment. Pathism is not necessarily the ultimate goal but is always there if you feel that nothing else fits.

Free your mind.
